AMILE - "Advocating Mental Illness & Life Experience"
AMILE Advocacy Service inc. is a not for profit health promotion charity and all donations over $2 are tax deductable. AMILE offers support and information to Families affected by mental illness.
We have 3 support groups weekly and also offer an outreach service.
All funds raised go directly towards assisting Families living with mental illness, our groups are attended by Carer's, Family and People living with mental illness

To help celebrate world mental health week AMILE Hosts a FREE Community Day, featuring the Cricket and a Family Fun Day with Sausage Sizzle, Face Painting by Elena Liew, Jumping Castle and heaps of information to help "learn a little" about the effect mental disorders can have on people and that they can react different sometimes but deep down there is NO difference!

FUNDING TO SUPPORT VOLUNTEERS ACROSS VICTORIA
The Department of Planning and Community Devrlopment have grants available for up to $5000 for not for profit organizations with priority given to the groups with smaller budjets. The grants are aimed at organizations wanting to increase the diversity of their vounteers and/or involve or encourage new volunteers.
